Hello! I'm Fahim — a dad, husband, son, engineer, and lifelong daydreamer living in Ottawa, Canada.

This site is my little corner of the internet: a place to document the things I find interesting, the rabbit holes I fall into, and the experiences I want to remember.

Expect a bit of everything: technology, photography, history, religion, personal projects, home improvements, and the occasional random thought that starts with "I wonder..."

My curiosity has always pulled me in different directions. One day I might be exploring technology and self-hosting, another day researching cameras and photography, planning a project around the house, or trying to understand something new. This site is where I keep those notes along the way.

Photography has become one of those long-running journeys. The gear has changed, but the reason remains the same: to create, learn, and preserve memories.

Beyond photography, I enjoy exploring technology, building things, improving my home, learning about personal finance, and finding new hobbies that inevitably lead down a rabbit hole.

This website is also a small experiment in owning my corner of the internet. It is self-hosted, built as a learning opportunity, and intentionally simple. No grand ambitions and no attempt to become an influencer — just a place to write, reflect, and share.

I've disabled comments because I prefer this site to be more like a personal journal than a discussion forum. I enjoy thoughtful conversations with friends, family, and people I meet, but managing an open comment section is a different challenge entirely.
